Structural features of wedge gate valves

- Sep 20, 2018 -

Different from parallel gate valves, wedge gate valves also have wedge-shaped single gate valves. The two sealing faces of the most commonly used wedge gate valves form a wedge shape, and the wedge angle varies with valve parameters, typically 50. The gate of the wedge gate valve can be made into a whole, called a rigid gate; it can also be made into a gate that can produce a small amount of deformation to improve its processability and make up for the deviation of the sealing surface angle during the machining process. The board is called a resilient shutter.

Nowadays, the universal wedge valve design is generally manufactured according to GB/T12234-2007 standard, and the sealing is reliable and the performance is excellent. Generally, the wedge type elastic ram structure is adopted, and the rolling bearing is set in the medium and large diameter, which is easy to open and close; the shape of the wedge gate valve is simple. The structure length is short, the manufacturing process is good, and the application range is wide. Welcomed by the majority of users.
